I understand the frustration, but what do you think a billboard is gonna do? Our paxx don’t care, hell, I’m not convinced a significant percentage of them can even read.
someone just posted an article above stating that a cargo carrier requested a release almost 18 months ago, crickets from the NMB, allegiant requested a release from the NMB, crickets, FedEx requested a release from the NMB, just got parked, the last airline to get released was spirit 15 YEARS AGO.
Sorry frontier pilots, nobody is going to do it for you. Keep *****ing on apc and Facebook, thumping your chests about paying alpa with your dues money while Barry laughs his ass off at the dysfunction. Time to get involved and ask yourself what are YOU doing to move the needle?!?

billboards would do a lot more than lanyards or sun shades.

Monkey Brains is right
Currently we as a pilot group are not applying any discernable pressure on the Company. Until that changes we can expect stall tactics until the end of time.

It’s clear that what we’re doing isn’t working. Frontier pilots have been paid significantly less than our peers for the past three years. Delta is already preparing to negotiate their 2026 contract.

As our latest union update stated:
“We are now twenty-three months into bargaining, we have not reached agreement on a single substantive issue, and the company still takes the position that they are unable to TA anything that will result in increased costs.”

Two years of talks, and not one tentative agreement to show for it. That should concern all of us.

We’ve now received 49 negotiation updates and we haven’t moved forward an inch. Not one meaningful win. At some point, we have to ask: where is the leadership?

We need bold, visible, and unified action.

You hit the nail on the head...

We don't need a contract - yet. We need to get a DISCERNABLE statement from Delta NC about what their ask will be next year. Then, stall and wait for them to publish. When their ask goes up, so does ours. And we'll have the ammo to go to the mediator and explain that we've been lapped in cycles.

I'll gladly wait another 2 years (given how long we've already waited) to get THAT much more.

Without suggesting something illegal, what exactly would you suggest?

Weather avoidance (take plenty of fuel, and deviate with a safe distance and speed). Be properly rested (maybe an extension would lead to a fatigued situation). Fly safe.
You should be doing all those regardless of the status of or contract negotiations. If you are not, it’s only a matter of time before it catches up with you.

Of course I always do. Just not sure we are all flying as safely as we could? As an example, just look at our stabilized approach numbers. We have a ‘no fault go around policy’. We have many people landing when not in compliance, when a go-around would be a good thing.
