Were you expecting a data base with every union employee in the country to be small? Im not doing all the legwork for you. Step 1 click on alpa. The majority of the information I mentioned and you asked for a source on is available on that website. Bottom line is we don’t need to guess at legal representation’s qualifications. Like you suggested.

I understand If you don't want to talk about it. Right now all of us are trying to size up the LECs. If there is so much infighting perhaps we should sweep out the LECs as well. It they can't put their differences aside and do what needs to be done they should not be there.
I completely agree with your last sentence in this post. I’m sure management is thrilled. Normally they just try to divide the pilot group. But union leadership as well? That should never happen.

Totally, everybody knows the when it comes to union leadership, you want the guy with a history of leaking union secrets to CPO and co-hosts an annual Kumbaya Fly-In with management.

I tend to believe what was said in that email.

Yes I am asking you to back up your statements with more than "it's on the internet". Many of us are trying to understand (myself included) ,but if you are unwilling to support your own arguments it is difficult to take you seriously.

Ok so what happened. The information has been leaked so there is no reason to hide it, Or is this just public smear?

If true we have one side of the Union leaking info to the CPO and the other side Not showing up to the Meeting in VA. I don't seeing any reason not to clean house. There is to much politics happening and not enough work being done.

I’m sure most people figured out how to navigate the link if they wanted to. Most people probably either knew what I mentioned was a fact or if they didn’t realized it made sense. A link is different than it’s on the internet. It takes you directly to the information but you do need to know how to use the internet at that point. Sounds more like a you problem. I Don’t really care if you take me seriously. I don’t take you seriously so I guess we’re even.

The union isn’t ‘leaking’ anything. Sidebar and informal conversations happen frequently. We want them to happen. We want the union to have a good relationship with the CPOs office. In the recent past, the two have had an adversarial relationship because of our previous VP of flight ops “leadership” style. Fortunately, this is changing.

The LECs are meeting to elect a new MEC chairman this week; right? I would assume the new MEC chairman’s goal will be to present a unified front and will, hopefully, get all the LECs in-line together. I’m not too concerned about LEC in-fighting with a new MEC chairman. Good luck to us all.

Hopefully Bagman is a member and can start to see what the rest of us have been hearing.

Opting out is exactly how our pilot group got into this predicament. The level of apathy required to allow a small minority of pilots to elect unqualified representatives should set off alarm bells!
Part of leadership is telling loudmouths things they don't want to hear when they are wrong, no matter how badly they wish them to be true.
