By the way, I haven’t read the company’s negotiations update. I highly recommend not to read their updates. Their coms are designed to be union busters. Divide and conquer, blame the union, pit pilot against pilot. Like your union or not, if you want the best possible outcome, let them speak for you. Ignore the company’s propaganda.

I keep telling ya, contract 2030. Although I might have to revise to contract 2033. Their offer is the equivalent of "is this still available" on Facebook marketplace. All their offer does is show the arbitrator that they are doing something. This buys the company time with the arbitrator so they can continue to drag their feet.
Granted we haven't seen their offer but an 11% raise and a reduction in min guarantee is actually a pay cut.

status check from NMB.
declared an impasse by NMB and approval to strike.
cooling off period of I believe 30 days? During that time they encourage the company and union negotiators to meet prior to the actual strike date.
then you can strike.
please correct me if I missed anything.
we aren’t allowed to legally strike. That’s why the company drags their feet.

Especially if you are overstaffed. Also it might be fine some months, but in slow months they just drop guarantee and short everyone on pay, negating any pay raises. How much is your top rate now and what % increase to get to industry standard?
