Company memo from their side in docunet....

proposed 11% pay increase ($300 top end CA) with the ability to negotiate higher rates in the future when we are out of these "uncertain times", a 5 year scale that tops out at 25% pay increase ($337). Worse work rules to compensate for the pay by being "more efficient for the company".

we all saw this coming.

Doesn't mean we need to vote yes, I sure won't be. Time to dig in to the trenches! Highly doubt this will ever get to a vote either, see you for contract vote 2028.

This is the way. What an insult to our time and risk we take on as a pilot remaining with this company.

more passengers.
more risk.
Less help.
more risk.
no crew meal. You’re hungry.
more risk.
less pay than inflation.
more risk.
More red eyes than other carriers
more risk.

then they have the gall to offer an insulting low wage.

Everyone should really start to wake up to the situation. You’re not valued to your management. You worker harder for less. We should all seriously consider how a long term career here would play out.

the audacity.

but it’s expected. That’s who we have at the top. They negotiate highest pay for the size of the company they “manage” then undercut the people who make their business even possible.

Agreed, looking forward to seeing the negotiators letter on Wednesday and see where their heads are at. But at least jabs are starting to be thrown, duck, weave and counters to come.

Company’s first offer. Of course it’s going to suck. Regardless they’ll drag this out for a long time.

They will 100% not be sending this out to a vote. This is just the companies first proposal. The union shouldn't send us anything to vote on unless they think it's worth voting for.

Carry on.

The only reason they even gave some BS offer was to keep the NMB appeased. This is a game of how long can we look like we are negotiating in good faith. The problem is there’s no real incentive for them to offer a contract unfortunately. To them it’s business as usual until they have a problem i.e. hiring, retention etc.

All we can do is keep moving forward one day at a time. It sucks in the moment but if we aren’t tripping over ourselves for some subpar contract for a quick money grab then we might have a chance. But then again there’s some selfish people here that have literally told me if the contract pays them out they are taking the first offer because they can’t wait forever to play catch up. Soooo….. let’s make sure we are all educated because this isn’t a let’s redo this in a year or two. Normal contracts usually last 7-10 years before a new one is implemented.

As long as Spirit rates are correct on their airline profile…You win. Those morons.

Strike.

Man of your word. I like that. Wish I was utterly wrong but what did we expect really? I will hold the line right next to you! ✊🏻 We need unity more then ever to succeed this round for all of us as an entire pilot group not just the few but ALL.
