could be either. Whoever it is can’t seem to explain why the company is locked into den only sim training. Just Like f9 driver alluded to just because you keep yelling the same thing over and over doesn’t make it true.
In other news I’ve seen las upgrade sim and I did covid cola landings sim in las. That’s past practice none den training sim. I would be surprised if any grievances were filed at any point because there’s no language that it violates. I’ll go out on a limb and guess that’s part of the reason why legal and the reasonable lec reps believe there’s limited leverage with aqp.

Read your contract: 25.H.9.b “All pilots will attend simulator training (for recurrent ref 25.H) in Denver . . .”

Hence, why the LOA is required. It changes book. Forget AQP, just imagine the cost savings on hotels, per diem, dh, and transportation to and from the sim if recurrent can be done in your base. All of those expenses are transferred directly to the pilot. No big deal if you live in base, but could be costly for the commuters.

I don’t even know who JH is referring to, but I’m am not him/her. Just a line pilot with an opinion that differs from yours.

You didn’t finish the sentence. There’s no three dots after the word den whatever that means? Doesn’t really matter as that language doesn’t change in a aqp loa. Do you want protections when the company implements this? What happens if I get less than 80% on a written test? What happens if an event needs to be rescheduled? Anyhow I’m out on public discussion. I’ll let the union speak on it.

Three dots is basic annotation. It’s called an ellipsis. It means words are purposefully omitted because the rest is unimportant or of no consequence. Basic writing. Read your contract and formulate your own opinion. Then let your union speak for you.

so the rest of that sentence is unimportant? Can I disregard the H.3-H-7 in parentheses protection as well? Yeah ok. I’m starting to think this is JH.

We’re starting to go down rabbit holes. That language doesn’t change in a aqp loa. So it’s irrelevant to any aqp loa. Sec 11 in a new agreement that language does change and gives the company the ability to expand RECURRENT training. The end. That’s it for me on aqp.

So, we're all basically arguing whether the union has leverage w/ the current setup for recurrent training. Really? There are MUCH larger issues and we're bickering over this?

Did you see this coming? Serious question. I always suspected/claimed that our pilot force was fairly weak but never expected this...

His email today is very informative. He kind of saw something coming. He admits he made mistakes in how to deal with it.
