who exactly are you griping against here?
not to mention that southwest is a lcc that offers beverages and bags for free, and is in a different segment of the market than ULCC

who is "we" and "who" is acting like that? I dont know any F9 pilots who view allegiant as the primary peer group. Obviously the company wants spirit and allegiant to be the pilots' "peer group," but saying your pilot group/union needs to "act" like SW is the primary peer group based on a brand new leak/rumor about southwest's contract that emerged in the past few days is pretty silly.

Our PEER groups are those who do the same job we do.... SWA. AA. DAL. UA. AS. NK. JB. etc. Flying an A321NEO with 240 people in the back is the same as if I was flying an A321NEO with 200 in the back at another carrier. I want to be compensated properly and I am sure everyone else does as well. Just because we are ultra low cost to the customer doesn't mean the pilots or planes are any worse than what people ride on at other carriers. It means we run lean on other things like agents, rampers, wands, headsets, tugs, tow bars, call centers, and crew schedulers.

if you make one post on this forum how we should be paid like Delta, the first thing everyone says is if you wanna be paid like delta, then you need to go to delta.
I say again. Are you for real with this post?

I don't think either of those companies are relevant contract references in the current environment.
are you for real with this post? Every time I turn around all I hear is how we are second rate, lower tier, ULCC pilots who will never get legacy rates or benefits. And people actually seem like they believe it.

Or are you just mad because I called out your imprecise language that resulted in a nonsensical post?
You said
Pick a lane dude. Glad you're not a negotiator, because you're unable to stay rhetorically consistent.
Feel free to re-read my post, because your reading comprehension is a little bit concerning. Maybe read it a third time before you respond. Please, quote it and let me know.

The fact is we most likely agree on the sentiment. I'm just questioning why you are annoyed at the union/pilot group for not "acting like" they deserve a literally just announced/rumored and unconfirmed SW contract? You didn't really make any intelligible point.
If you said, "hey, this should be our target," then great, I hope you guys achieve that. That's not what you said though.
I hope F9 pilots can achieve a contract akin to the rumored Southwest contract.

Ahhh yes, I'd forgotten about Covid. Seems like it's been a while since the Uncle Sam Bucks died up but I don't know when that was. Good point though, thanks
