I'm wondering on when we will make any real progress with mediation taking place, I'm still under the impression we won't see anything voted on tuntil end of 25/early 26 at the earliest... The only way I see it happen earlier is if boeing gets their act toghether and starts delivering on the max 7/10 in the next year or two, which is highly unlikely...

Pilots are still carrying maintenance items to get home, flying fast to make up for delays, extending, and picking up premiums. It’s going to be a long time. By the time this pilot group bands together enough for Barry to come to the table the pilot shortage will be over. I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you. It could be 2027-28. They have absolutely no reason to give us a contract this time around. Brad has said our pipeline program has 800 pilot in it.

Love how people use this as an excuse because they still can’t figure out how to pick one up. Then they cry woe is me and blame bots.

Or some pilots are starting to realize management is running things as slim as possible. Picking up overtime is allowing management to run more displacements out of bases. Until flights start canceling due to lack of crews I would expect to see more displacements to right size each base that successfully staffs itself through the premium system. Just keep in mind every time you cover a flight or pick up a premium on your days off you are giving management a reason to displace another pilot to SJU, CLE, or CVG.

Perhaps some are in that crowd but I have a look but don’t touch policy with Premium. Just the perfect one popped in Vegas today. Nope, not today Barry.
