The union is trying. But they are bound by the rules of the RLA.
Please spare us. Those disingenuous talking points have gotten old. There are many different avenues they could take to further the pilot groups cause.

Any suggestions? I do agree at some point the union needs to explain why it might not be in someone’s best interest to come work at f9. There’s a fine line to walk with the nmb and I think right now the strategy is to get into mediation asap. I’ll guess a request is coming soon. So putting out such a statement might not help with that goal. Any other suggestions?

Right.

It's only our union that struggles to knock the company into submission....

Allegiant has been in negotiations for how long now?
Southwest, full of Luv, took over 4 years to negotiate.

If you think my talking points have gotten old, just wait until we are still working on this contract in 3 years.

Imagine if they were as sincere as they sound in their emails...

Hilarious how they are trying to split the pilot group with their email and video updates about how well they are trying and its all the unions fault.

I don’t know what your emails said but it’s straight out of the playbook. Spirit did the same to us multiple times. It’s one of many tactics designed to wear you down and ultimately get you to settle for industry lagging compensation

divide and conquer. Oldest trick in the book. Unfortunately, some fall for it every time we’re in negotiations. BL mentioned management agreed to drop to 35 in his video. Yeah hasn’t happen.
Management agreed to improved moving expenses. Probably part of the reason why you’re displacing now. Why do you need alpa to cost out existing language?
We know you want vac, sick, reassignment, and training gives.
Where is your comprehensive proposal?

Not to mention his "Drop to 35" Is only talking about FLICA drops so you can drop a few trips in order to pick up more, nothing about actually finishing the month with 35. lol

He didn't clarify but it doesn’t really matter because nothing was TAed. It was a lie either way.
