I heard the only reason we are still waiting on our first class seats is that the seat belts weren’t approved and we needed an STC. Can anybody else ascertain the truth to that rumor?
WiFi has never been officially announced so that is not especially surprising. It’s barely even officially announced that we are looking into it.
As far as rumors that haven’t come true the only one that hasn’t come true to my knowledge is the base closure one. Yet. Praise Vishnu. What other official rumors haven’t come true?

I wouldn’t call it a rumor but 4000 pilot airline by 2030. 232 planes by 2027 or whatever year it was. I mean the list goes on. While I appreciate the optimism let’s all not pretend that there’s been rumors that have come true and didn’t do a thing. Just to name one of my favorites—“we need to get rid of BL of he’s gone things would be better” guess what Brad got shown the door and nothing changed. You could argue that it got worse for many and better for the few that wanted day turns. I mean if you’ve been here long enough you know the BS that’s be said or the false realities that guys talk about. It is what it is.

Let's be honest - this place isn't a great place to work. Improvements, regardless of what they have been, are VERY SMALL despite the ability of the company to make larger/better ones. Our on-time performance, baggage handling, customer service and the like have all improved marginally but we're still hangin around LAST in the industry in most meaningful categories.
When a person is on life support, you want to see the doctors and nurses scurrying around and doing things to help quickly. This business is HEMORAGING pilots (both CAs and FOs) and mgt seems to be moving at a little faster than snails pace.
