It will be announced in 2weeks or soon, just like they told us in January. Ha! (Being humorous here)

Thx Max for fixing my April class date guess and adding numbers to boot! Wonder what total projected new hires this will be ultimately be?

Thanks, and to you too Xdark. Rumor was that BB (not Bedford) came into recurrent and said ATL, but that was BS per others in the class.

I think they're caught between what makes absolute accounting sense, and what they think they need for IROPS when our northern hubs go TU during winter storms. I think it will be in somewhere in FL - and now I'm $.02 deeper into the betting pool ;-)

Edit: And for double or nothing... I think we'll know by Friday!

Bold statement! You should do double or nothing on that one.

186 seats in the 320? Yet another new seating configuration? That must be the new high-density model with smaller galleys.

186 and 230 are the max seating configs airbus allows... I think they might be nice and keep it at 177 and 215ish... Maybe

Help me out here. Is this order in addition to the ones already announced this year, which is what it seems, or are they just adding a couple to those already ordered? Either way the growth is good.

This is a new order. It's in addition to the order for 321s that start coming this fall. The article says that in order to be the lowest cost airline in the US, they need the larger seating capacity aircraft to do it. I think we'll see the older 319s go away in the next few years.

I think it's interesting that they publicly admit their intention to be even lower cost than Spirit. Ambitious goal for sure

Aero
Thx. That is how I read it but I didn't want to assume. Also funny yet admit their intentions to everyone...except us until it's public. Its good news though.
