I have a R-ATP due to my age but meet the hour requirements. Would this be okay?

I have a fly personality and make craft beer on my overnights...

Got the call yesterday (30th) as well for a December 17th interview. Attended the FLL job fair so not including Thanksgiving was about two weeks from job fair to call for an interview.

The youngest guys on the list are all over 25. You have indicated in other threads that you were at least in your mid 20's. Have you aged in reverse, and if so what is the secret?

Nothing ventured, nothing gained, I'd say. Wouldn't hurt to give it a try.

I just looked at the Nov. 1 seniority list and the youngest guy is now a few months short of 25. You'd be the youngest on the list and probably the youngest person ever hired. Depending on the mood of the folks doing the hiring and how they may choose to spin it, you may be enough of a novelty that they'd give you the job.

You'd, of course, have to meet whatever other requirements/traits they might be seeking on that particular day, but it wouldn't shock me to see it happen. One thing I'll mention is that the chief pilot monitors this forum on a regular basis. Now that you've essentially identified yourself, you'll need to consider whether or not any of your prior posts reveal undesirable attitudes or traits. I know as a firsthand fact that posts made on this board have resulted in blackballing from the CP. I haven't read your stuff... I'm just saying it's something to consider.

EDIT: So I'm a bit bored sitting here eating lunch by myself and spent about 5 minutes poking around... Mr. Slaveaway, I'd say you're hosed. If you really are less than 23 years old, you'll be easy to identify. Your post of 07/28/15 indicates that you are at least 26 years old and had 5000TT and 2000PIC as of that post. Now your times are roughly halved and you've lost 3+ years?

I understand the innate desire to advance your career, but jobs come and go. Your integrity is forever.

I'm going to offer a little unsolicited advice: Stop lying.

I should've spun that 7/28 post differently. It was more so a question of if one has a vast amount of experience do 61 training issues matter. It wasn't meant to be a "lie". I do apologize.

I also read the news clip saying Frontier wanted to hire 500 flight attendants for primarily the Chicago base. That sure seems excessive. Is the turnover rate really that high for new flight attendants?

My understanding is that frontier cannot get any more gates at ORD. They want them, but they can't be had. I'll just go ahead and start a rumor that we are going back to Midway....

I had heard the 321 is helping us get another gate or two due to its footprint. Me thinks there is possibly more growth coming soon to that base. Doesn't pass the sniff test that it is for attrition. But what the heck do I know.....

Wow! 500? Hopefully it means big things to come for ORD.

Well, when you're swapping out 319s for 320s and getting 321's, plus I have to believe we have high FA attrition, that number suddenly doesn't seem so big.
