Frontier Hiring.

When in training you're considered based in Denver - so transportation is up to you to during ground school and sim. I suggest you drive or carpool with someone in class. Walking or riding a bike would prove very difficult in the winter. If you want to PM me I can send you the number to a crash pad that people on the forum are talking about. Congrats and welcome aboard!

Has anybody heard any news on potential growth in ord? Just saw an interesting news article a day ago about an upcoming FA hiring event in ord (Dec). Frontier said they are looking for 500 more FAs primarily for that base..... Curious what is going on there and wondering if I'm missing something.

I got the call yesterday (30 Nov) for a Dec interview. I attended the FLL job fair, and she mentioned that as a factor (I also have a Silver Bullet.) I won't be able to attend the Dec interview, so she slipped me to Jan. Dates for Dec interviews are the 15th and 16th (I think - it was that week for sure.) January dates are TBD, but will be during the third week, so sometime around the 20th.

Pretty fair if you show up and interact like you're someone who wants to be there and is fun to fly with.

I just looked at the Nov. 1 seniority list and the youngest guy is now a few months short of 25. You'd be the youngest on the list and probably the youngest person ever hired. Depending on the mood of the folks doing the hiring and how they may choose to spin it, you may be enough of a novelty that they'd give you the job.
You'd, of course, have to meet whatever other requirements/traits they might be seeking on that particular day, but it wouldn't shock me to see it happen. One thing I'll mention is that the chief pilot monitors this forum on a regular basis. Now that you've essentially identified yourself, you'll need to consider whether or not any of your prior posts reveal undesirable attitudes or traits. I know as a firsthand fact that posts made on this board have resulted in blackballing from the CP. I haven't read your stuff... I'm just saying it's something to consider.
EDIT: So I'm a bit bored sitting here eating lunch by myself and spent about 5 minutes poking around... Mr. Slaveaway, I'd say you're hosed. If you really are less than 23 years old, you'll be easy to identify. Your post of 07/28/15 indicates that you are at least 26 years old and had 5000TT and 2000PIC as of that post. Now your times are roughly halved and you've lost 3+ years?
I understand the innate desire to advance your career, but jobs come and go. Your integrity is forever.
I'm going to offer a little unsolicited advice: Stop lying.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained, I'd say. Wouldn't hurt to give it a try.
