I withdraw my prior comments.
That's what I get for reading this forum at 2:00 in the morning...but captain cookie, really. That hurts!
Good luck at F9! Good peeps.
I don't want the mic.
Now I hear F9 is hiring...

If you have a car (or are willing to rent one with some other newhires) you can try either Pilot Crash Pads with Blocked INN or LUVsuites
Blocked Inn is a house on the east fringe of the Stapleton East neighborhood, $275/month, and luvsuites is a $38/night deal, still about half of what the Staybridge Suites next to the GO costs.
Congrats on joining F9!

Hello all,
Long time listener, first time caller. Wanted to jump on and start getting involved in the community. Been studying up for a mid December F9 interview which I see a few others are approaching as well (Good luck to you, and those that have applied too). Appreciate the great info on here that people have laid down, very helpful.
Anyway, I'm very much looking forward to the opportunity at hand and hoping it goes well. I'm getting my head wrapped around what the process is but will try to be useful to others if I can!
First question for F9 guys: (not a concern for me, but prepping ammo for the interview) does captain pay reset to year 1 when you upgrade at F9? or do you maintain your seniority year for the pay chart...
Thanks everyone, really

P.S. I wouldn't mind getting to know the others going in for interviews soon, PM me if you wish!

The Blocked Inn is much more expensive than $275. They gouge you an extra $75 a month for being in training. They do NOT provide transportation to or from the airport that is convenient. For another up charge of $20 per month you are privalaged to use their POS car to go to and from the United training center that is shared among the others in the pad. Meaning if you are the only one there then it's your job to pick up the next guy if you have the car. They do offer some semiprivate rooms and the house is very nice overall but the more private room or pretty much anything else will be another nice up charge. The only way to get to Frontier training is to bring your own vehicle. Oh yea, and they won't refund you your security deposit unless you stay there longer than 3 months.
In my opinion I would stay away, there are many better options out there.
