This is pretty harsh. Some people (like myself) have a family and have to pay for school tuition, child care, groceries, etc. Those things add up really fast. I commend anyone who is (legally) able to go instruct, or fly otherwise. I also know a 6 figure 91 pilot who drives for Uber to make ends meet.

I encourage you to take a moment and self reflect on how fortunate you are that you can't fathom the need to instruct to make extra money while furthering your career.

Next person, should prepare financially to take a hit on first year pay wherever you go. Plain and simple!

By the way if you want to fly a citation, or flight instruct on the side don't put it in your master logbook for legality purposes.
Try not to be so negative, your turn to fly in a big plane will come soon enough. Keep your chin up.

Hey, FC
Since when is a PSA RJ a big plane?

Why don't you take all your smart alecky posts up to the legacy threads if you're such a seasoned pro? Seems you only got a beef with the F9 and G4 folks. That could only mean one thing. You got the ol' TBNT from both. Hope the flow through works for ya, if it ever comes. Unless, it already did and you couldn't cut it there either.

This is where I drop the mic

Default Room to rent

Hi
I was wondering if anyone knew of any good deals on rooms for training. Ideally I would be able to walk to the training center but if not I could drive a car out.
Thanks for the help!

Bunch of guys have had good luck with an AIRBNB place not too far from HQ. I think some of them read this board, and can probably PM you with the details. You'll need wheels though. It is near "The Parking Spot" long term parking.

Good luck & happy Thanksgiving!

If you have a car (or are willing to rent one with some other newhires) you can try either Pilot Crash Pads with Blocked INN or LUVsuites

Blocked Inn is a house on the east fringe of the Stapleton East neighborhood, $275/month, and luvsuites is a $38/night deal, still about half of what the Staybridge Suites next to the GO costs.

Congrats on joining F9!
