Do I understand correctly that Frontier trains out of the United Training Center in DEN? If thats the case do you guys own a few Bus sims or are you leasing the time from the sims we own?

Gotcha! I'm sure that third one is going to make life a lot easier with the amount of movement going on there. Are those sims located at our training center or do you guys have your own location?

Everything going good these days for you Bolo? Hope all is well.

There was a small November class of 6 new hires. The small class was because OE will be right in the middle of the Christmas rush and some FO type ratings had been put off until the last minute causing a shortage of instructor time. 4 got DEN and 2 got MCO.

The primary Frontier sims are owned by a company called Strategic Simulator Solutions. They're usually referred to as "Triple S" so I might be a tad off regarding which each "S" stands for, but it's something like that. It's my understanding that we're their only customer for A320 sims. I think a regional carrier (Skywest maybe) might conduct ground schools there and might also have an RJ sim of some flavor on site as well. I'm obviously not a training department guy, so my intel is limited to my sim visit every 6 months.

In any case, the SSS sims are slightly east of Tower road just north of where Tower Road intersects with I-70. They're probably a 5-10 minute drive from the Frontier general offices.

The SKW sim is a e-jet sim.

Default Sim

So it sounds like the sim training is most likely going to be in Denver. Is transportation provided from the training center to the sim building? Trying to figure out if I'm going to drive a car out.
Thanks everyone

No, they do not provide transportation from the GO to the sim. Looks like you will be driving your car out to Denver unless you can hook up with a classmate that has a car out here already.
