It works something like that. If you're sick, you still have to call in sick. It gets reported as such and is something that can't be abused. Your PTO bank is used for this. If the reserve grid is green and days before your trip you get sick, you can PTO the trip online without it being reported as a sick call.

I followed the think. Help me out, I genuinely want to read the article.

The lead stories are:
"program gives single mom a job and a car"

Next up:
"Wig wearing serial bank robber on loose"

Third story:
"Woman had 2 children with underage boy".

Big Foot told me the same thing, of course, He was on his way home from the Easter Bunny's house, where he heard that from a new-hire FA, who definitely heard it from BB, whilst he told the whole class all five of our new crew bases and that DAL had just accepted our offer to buy them with the revenue from our snack and drink sales.

5 of 15, isn't true. And writing down rumors just makes this forum a giant waste of time. (NWSteer'er I hope my satire didn't offend, it wasn't meant to be personal, just pointing out how silly (and unfounded) rumors typically are.)

That's not even the union posturing during contract negotiations, it's just the sad damn truth. Weather has nothing to do with the current meltdown. A lack of gates and ramp/gate agents due to a short sighted management team at our main hub has created a bottleneck in the system. The company has been saying for months now a quick fix is around the corner but if anything the problem keeps getting worse. Look at the flights leaving DEN this morning. EVERY SINGLE FLIGHT in the last 2 hours and for the next 3 hours has or will leave late. The weather in Denver has been great for days. If you really want to get depressed check out the Frontier Twitter Feed, horror story after horror story. I know there will always be some bargain hunter willing to buy a $39 ticket but we're really starting to test the boundary of poor service in regard to repeat customers.

The game of Battleship is already underway. And the company is showing its broadside, so you can't blame the union for taking a shot.

Union: "K5"
Company: [sigh] "HIT!"

Your thoughts aren't unfounded. Unfortunately this management team has learned through trial and error those poor service boundaries are wide.

Spirit has been delivering uncontested ****ty service for years without consequence.
