Has anyone actually paid the training contract? Also, there are still a handful of F/Os on first year pay that did not sign one. Even if you're a second year F/O (and therefore didn't sign the contract) you will take a small paycut the first year including the bonus, and will be making considerably more second year and beyond. I'm pretty sure Allegiant still has a shorter upgrade than Frontier.

If you can afford to come here, when we get a new contract or are bought you will wish you did. So if your choice is here or a regional - Frontier is a no brainer. I understand if your financial situation does not allow it though.

SFA and aero hit it spot on a couple pages back... there is absolutely NO comparison in coming to frontier or going to a regional... you may very well make way more the first year at a regional but you'll have a job at frontier, or whoever we are in 5 years, when your short upgrade, bonus paying regional goes tango uniform...
Allegiant's pay rates are decent... their contract is not... they routinely have guys on reserve until midnight, give them one day off, then put em back on reserve at 5am... they get a ton of single days off and from what I've seen of their schedules, most of our non vacation months are still better than their vacation months... I may be wrong about this, but I believe they have a credit cap too

Quick question, I am not current and have not flown over 7 years now. Thinking of getting back into flying. I have 2500tt and former emb145 FO for a regional and have about 700 sic on the 145.
Do you think I have any chance at all with frontier with my lack of currency. Would love some good advice. I have 2 kids 7 and 9 and they are older now and I live in the California, so I don't know how life would be at frontier or if it the right move. Maybe go with a regional say Skywest wear coast base then from their apply to united or delta in a few years. I DONT Know

I have been at F9 for over a year and have no regrets. I do live in base. If I went to a regional because first year pay was 5-10k more I'm not sure if I would feel the same. We have issues here but if you come here and don't know what your getting into it's your own fault.
