I agree with the poor execution part! Not disputing that at all. And it was a joke for the Company to ask any employees help that were non-rampers. But for you to state “All employees” was not true! Calling a spade a spade here. Nothing more nothing less!
As for Koolaid drinker, I love Cherry flavor!

I sat in a ground school several years ago when Barry The Biffster personally bestowed upon us his significant presence.

One of the questions from the pilot peanut gallery concerned an alarming rate of attrition among newhire flight attendants. I don’t remember the actual number, but let’s assume it was 25% within the first year of employment.

The pilot asked if this was true. The Barry confirmed that it was, in fact, true, but offered no further explanation or commentary. The inquisitive pilot asked a follow on question... “Is this acceptable to the Company and, if not, what are you doing about it?”

The Barry said that they were conducting more rigorous screening of new flight attendant applicants so that the applicants would be better aware of what they’re signing up for.

The pilot asked another question: “Have you considered treating them like human beings and paying them a livable wage?” The Barry responded by suggesting that maybe the Pilot should be part of the ongoing attrition.

The pilot was forced to resign a few months prior to the standard age 65 retirement date. Barry got his wish.

I share this story to (1) show the caliber of leadership here at Frontier, and (2) to suggest that the ALPA website describing working conditions at Frontier REALLY IS intended to help the Company make applicants aware of the sheetstorm they’re stepping into by applying at Frontier. Just being helpful, we are.

And to add to the last point, this happened while Barry was enriching himself with a compensation package very comparable to Gary Kelly over at Swa. But how dare we pilots ask to be compensated 15-20% below what Swa guys and gals get paid. Frontierpilotfacts.com. Stay away. If you do come here now, I wouldn’t want to be know as a pilot who got hired here during this era. Just saying, it’s that bad!

I totally believe Frontier should be listed as a regional carrier. Got an email to re-apply. 37 bucks? Nope. I hope it gets better soon there. Although I doubt it. I wouldn’t touch a place owned by a private equity firm. I’ve seen movies like Wall Street and I’m watching how FM Radio is dying. Dadgum private equity groups, man. They’ll chop you up and spit you out.
