Or anything for that matter.
My question to you would be, would you rather have management only people selecting our candidates or having our pilots being a part of the process in hiring?

Yes, they do.
I'm sure plenty of airlines do not verify logbooks in the interview. I was hired by Atlas and they did not look at logbooks whatsoever. In fact, they specifically stated that's it's not required to bring to the interview.

Currently trying to get an interview with F9 in the meantime, but I'm starting to realize it may not be for me.

I am glad we have people doing it. As a matter of fact, I complemented them a few posts later. So don't jump to conclusions.

Nor was I implying that they shouldn't do it. I'm just surprised people are willing to do anything above and beyond theses days.

You're hired at Atlas but would prefer to be at Frontier? May I ask why? I'm assuming the long periods of time away from home?

Not jumping to conclusions. Just asked you a question.

What could stuck up former Skywest FOs know anything about hiring culture at Frontier when they themselves were just hired too? I thought it was weird and a red flag that most if not all of the interviewers were young and new themselves. Looked very regional like.

Just curious how many interviewers are "young" and newer ? When I got hired couple years ago most everyone interviewing was a captain 👩*✈️. I'm guessing since they have to pay these guys now it's cheaper to have an FO on 2nd year pay than capt pay . Just an observation / educated guess.

As someone who has done interviewing at a previous airline, the interview is a simple process. Show up looking presentable, demonstrate a respectful level of competency by having taken the couple hours to brush up on the regs and a few TMAAT questions, and most importantly act like someone the interviewer wouldn't mind spending four with, and you're good to go.

As for the culture at Frontier, there isn't one. Half of the seniority list has been hired in the last 3 years. We are the same as every other airline. Mission oriented professionals who show up, get the job done, and want to be compensated by the market rate accordingly.

Nailed it. The much vaunted "culture" at frontier is a bs myth. It's the same as everywhere else except we are working for half compensation. Anyone that brags about our culture should be ashamed.
