You assume as well. Not all of us meet the conditions you laid out. I was given some good advice to not come here and take a training dept position at my regional instead but did not take that advice in part due to some personal issues and concern over the stability of my regional at the time, which turned out to be a miscalculation on my part. I am still very appreciative to the one who didn’t sugar coat it and give me some bull like the wage is insulting but you work with great people PERIOD. You guys are out of touch on this.

I am waiting to see a new contract. As much as I know that F9 would be better long term, the current first year pay is enough to financially ruin me and my family.

Where needs street check airmen? Serious question. My last post was way over dramatic I knew it about a minute after I did it, and fully own it. Frontier does have some good things about it I'm not arguing against that, it is also the bottom of the barrel in terms of narrow body US operators and I don't think anyone is arguing against that either. So there's no reason to put lipstick on a pig here. What I got from the guy who is calling everyone whiny b****es (although going just by my last post he may be justified
)is that we are supposed to give the negative facts with a positive attitude. Did I misread that? The intended point of my last post is you don't know if this place is better or not for someone either, stick to the facts. And I might add our union has a whole website that they have made pointing out the pitfalls of this place I really don't get these personal campaigns that try to give caveats to overcome all the negatives here.
I do think giving people both sides of the coin is a good thing but I did take offense to the guy who seems to have self appointed himself hall monitor, and seems slightly self-delusional in this case (although I respect and agree some of the other stuff he has said these boards) calling others whiny b*****es for stating facts.

Not trying to be a thread monitor, just stating my opinion just like you state yours. If you notice, I don’t post on this thread much at all. I’m on the inside looking out and I’m seeing how we (me included) might appear to the outside world given all the negativity that is associated with us. I have ZERO problem with informing others of the facts and many have been shared. My issue is that lately it seeems the ONLY facts shared are the bad ones. Would you really say this place has absolutely no good qualities about it? The contracts bad, the management is bad, the schedulers are bad, the maintenance is Allegiant like and the pilots....well I guess you can see how the pilots are from reading this thread. Is that the picture you wanna portray about yourself? Because that ain’t me...

Dracir1, call a negotiator and speak with them. They'll gladly bring you up to speed on the union's current strategy and the situation we are currently facing. I think you'll be surprised to hear what they have to say.

I didn’t call you or anyone else specifically any names. I mentioned that if you had read back just a few pegs on this thread (you should actually try it), then it might appear that F9 pilots (in general) are a bunch of whiny b$@ches. I’m sorry that you felt personally attacked by that comment but it seems like your taking offense pretty much verifies my point....inasmuch as you admitted to doing so in your own post. Definitely a if the shoe fits situation here.

I didn't feel personally attacked I'm a self admitted whiny B. I just thought it was weird that there was someone whining about people whining, and saying we needed to be more professional while using profane name calling as part of their argument. This is all so inconsequential though so I admit defeat to you. You win. Again I am a whiny B.
The point, that I think is of consequence, is that the union has a site that took time, energy and research, and probably some of our money, to adddress potential new hire questions. If you want to tell people about the good things here great but don't mislead them by not giving them the whole picture.

Not even close. I’m not even sure what 60 mins would talk about, we do a lot of contract maintenance which could potentially lead to some issues. But every time I’ve seen a “major” issue out maintenance guys were flown out via a charter flight or airlined on us or somebody else.
F9 has its issues, but for maintenance is very very low on the list. Our maintenance guys do an exceptional job.
