If I remember correctly a third sim coming on starting in October. Hadn’t heard anything about 30 a month.

Not to mention that beginning sometime next year all PC's will now be 2 day events. Guess we'll see how it all plays out once they decide to ramp up the hiring and upgrades.

Yah. I’ve been curious as to why F9 didn’t try to buy SSS when it was sold to Airbus. If we’re really going to grow as much as is claimed within the next 5 to 10 years, it would seem logical to have complete control of both the costs and the logistics/scheduling of the training device(s).

SSS and/or Airbus will certainly be making a profit renting sim time. Seems like the greedy bastards at Indigo would want to capture this profit rather than making money for a different entity.

All in the world of high finance, I guess. They’re saving so much on my wages that they don’t have to be careful in other aspects of the business. :-)

Buying $49 billion worth of airframes is bound to come with some training slots and covered maintenance. No telling what kind of deal was cut with this order.

Their vested interest in the long term success of this company is showing.

We have to have a LOS now because of our codeshare with volaris... line oriented simulation or some such bs... I did one yesterday.... it’s basically a loft... they said 4 years ago when I started that we’d probably be aqp in 2 years... believe it when you see it type of scenario... the check airmen seem to think it’s going that way

Hopefully you guys get AQP. It's so much better for everyone!
