Pay is 75 hours yes. About $2800 / month gross - $2000 after taxes if you use max deductions and live in a no income tax state. I haven’t heard anything about hotels being paid yet .

They said when I was in recurrent hotels in new hire won’t come until the new contract.

Anyone know how many guys started in July? I know they were planning on somewhere around 10, would be interesting to see how many they hired due to the fact we’re cancelling vacations now. Smart thing to do would be hire more but we all know smart and management don’t go together.

Sounds like a great recruiting tool. Industry low pay, crappy benefits and don’t forget We’re gonna take your vacation away... but that contract is right around the corner. When would you like to interview Mr Candidate ?

Well 3 years ago the sales pitch at the job fair I went to was - 2 Year upgrade, contract right around the corner, growth growth growth - and you can work a bit extra and make $100 grand. I didn’t come here to have my contractually guaranteed vacation taken away after I spend $4000 on tickets etc.

Why did you come here ?

It’s frustrating to see how the company is handling thier F up, but they are banking on creating a divide between the pilot group and hoping the pilots will slip up. No one accepts a job blind and everyone has thier reasons, but new hires now should have a pretty good idea about the toxic environment created by management by doing a little research. This just shows thier severe lack planning that they were hoping to blame the pilots for in thier previous company letters. Let the union do thier job and lets do ours. Don’t be the next name in a company letter.

Just a refresher on the vacation section. If your vacay ends up being canceled all non refundable cost for that vacation shall be refunded by the company.
Still absolutely insane they are thinking about doing this, but at least you can get your money back.

26 for the July class, they wanted 30.
