Don’t believe their bull****.
Management is a bunch of liars! They are purposely driving the operation off a cliff, so they can blame it on pilots. The operation is an embarrassment. Management is taking August vacations, as a petty retaliation for the cancellation of LOA 65. Currently First Officer reserve is long. The proposed delivery schedule is fiction. We are nowhere near a contract or a release by the NMB. The quality of life of line holders is eroding.

Glad it worked out for you. Yes we will get a contract, it will happen. Enjoy your 4 days in HNL, just curious what do you do for the other 12-14 days on your trip? Man, I can barely handle a 4 day. Ha ha
Yes right now sucks at F9, but I don’t fault anybody for coming here. If you come please don’t pay for a hotel during training....I’m not sure who in the right mind would do this. Plenty of quality and quiet crashpads close to the training center for 250-450. Yes, manamgent and the pay is rough right now....but those things change. Spirit sucked 3-5 years ago. Those guys who went are now decently senior captains making well over 200k, with great retirement. Who knows what will happen to F9. Is it a risk....somewhat. Will it pay off? I think so.

Honestly, once you get used to blocks of 8 days or even 16 straight you’ll never want to go back to 4 blocks of 4 day trips. Too much time spent on your own time jumpseating to crashpads, and not enough time off at home to really go do anything.
You guys just need to stand strong and stay united. The shortage is on you’re side. The longer it takes the more pressure they’ll end up under to give you a leading contract. I think you guys will end up being a great place to work once your contract is resolved.
The point being, even the ACMI’s have turned into real jobs. You guys are in a good position. F9 will be another Spirit/JetBlue pretty soon I’d say.

Just so we're clear, you're indirectly defending coming to work for Frontier? Like it's not an embarrassment what those new airplanes are being operated for? You're defending working at a place where Airbus pilots with YEARS of experience in type, in the right seat, aren't even close to being guaranteed 80k a year? It confounds the mind. Is it a defense mechanism against realizing what an industry sucking hole you work for?

They are telling new hires (potential new hires) that we will have 89 aircraft on property by December 31. The fact is we have less aircraft on property now (76) than we did in March-April(80). We do have new aircraft on the ramp, but old ones are going away at about the same rate we receive new ones. We do not have the Pilots to add 13 new airplanes in less than six months. They are also telling potential new hires that we will have over a 100 aircraft by the end of next year.
With all due respect to you, every aircraft I flew this week was not provisioned(no water, coffee, drinks). How are these clowns going to manage to add 24 aircraft in less than 18 months.

In April we had 75 aircraft. 3 were in heavy checks and 3 were spares.
As of right now, we have 75 aircraft. There are none in heavy all summer and 3 are spares.
We take delivery of 332, 335 and 336 in August. We take another 2 Sept, 3 in Oct, 2 in Nov, and 2 in Dec.
