Since it’s required. I guess captains will be paid for doing this?

And yes that’s sarcasm.

Why would we do anything for this company/CPO after the letters they sent out and the cancelled vacations. Not in our contract

Of course not, they’ll do it because they know if they don’t a new hire on probation will be terminated because they weren’t able to get enough “gold stars.”

Also did ANYONE notice the line; “In the next decade, Frontier Airlines will be growing and facing the challenge of having a junior seniority group compared to major and legacy airlines.”

...major and legacy airlines...

Our own chief pilot doesn’t see frontier as a major airline. He could have said other majors but he didn’t. Just that one little oversight said more than any pep memo could.

If you aren’t here, look elsewhere. If you are here get your paper in order.

Here is just a sample of the new program.

The goal of the Pilot Peer Review program is to provide oversight and guidance to new-hire / probationary First
Officers through evaluation of six criteria to include:
- Flying in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Pilot duties (i.e. walk-around, Pilot Flying/Monitoring)
- Knowledge (FAR’s, Flight Operations Manuals, etc.)
- Crew Resource Management (CRM)
- Professionalism
- Appearance (i.e. uniform standards and overall appearance)
The success of the program rests within the hands of the largest stakeholders, the Pilots. Open and honest
feedback allows us to ensure the success of our Pilot group. A brief Program Overview includes:
- First Officer’s will be required to obtain three (3) New Hire Pilot Reviews from Captains with whom
they have flown within six (6) months from date of hire.
- After obtaining three reports, no later than 6 months, the First Officer will meet with their respective
Base Chief Pilot to review their peer reports.
- Base Chief Pilots will, in person, review performance standards and expectations with corrective
actions and/or commendations and determine if subsequent meetings are required at nine (9) months
Is this in the CBA?

I guess I’ll “opt out”

Just out of curiosity why wouldn't any of us want to help the people we work closest with everyday? I think anything that brings this pilot group together and more unified is a good thing and you build those relationships by one on one interaction. Mentorship is a good thing, something we all should be doing already before it was even put out as a memo. Just my opinion though....

(The legacies have this program as well)

Plus let's be honest, after seeing how some of the captains fill out class two paperwork these "reports" will be done between the time the FA hands you coffee and the cockpit door closes so don't act like it's a huge burden.

How about you stop wasting company time on forums and get back to real work in that cubicle. You know figure out more ways to "poke the bear"

I wouldn't bother... Apparently if you don't grab a pitch fork and torch with every move the company makes, you're either working in the CPO/mgmnt or a kool-aid drinker.

I will NOT sign anything not required by the CBA......
Unfortunately at this place it’s CYA!

Yet, you put your signature on releases, the logbook, ASAP reports, fatigue reports and anything else required by the FOM.

if an FO asks you to do one of these reports, you're really going to deny them???
