The new latest falsehood management is telling “EVERYONE” is that the airline will grow 40% next year. This is a blatant lie. Their numbers for recruiting are down, so the easiest way to seduce suckers is to scream “growth”. They say they need 40 a class and maybe they’ll reach their goal of 20. This is a classic management technique. They don’t care that it’s a lie. They will do ANYTHING to achieve what they need to. Then, after paying for your own hotel, you will be stuck at a bottom feeder sh*thole airline commuting to reserve for $38 an hour. Please, for your sake and the sake of your families do not fall for these ploys. We are not set up to train that many people! There is NO WAY this airline can or will grow that much next year! It is impossible!

Who is saying this? The recruiters? All I’ve heard is 20+ per month, and a upgrade class every month next year. Highly subject to change of course.

Listen, you and I both know this place hasn’t churned out 20+ a month since like mid 2016 or so. And as for upgrades every month we also know this isn't true. They always pause for June/July and there is always an excuse for why we Aren’t producing as planned. Heck, they have already cancelled vacations in August because they can’t cover the flying, and that’s with light classes. Now of course you, Aero, an denpilot are going to try to dismiss this but everyone here knows that even 20 a month next year IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! Wow, yeah I get all of this. You didn’t have to explain it again. Let me ask again, are the recruiters preaching this 40% growth thing? That’s what I’m wondering, I hadn’t heard anybody say anything about 40% growth. I’m trying to figure out who is spreading this craziness.

I agree with Chief, something needs to change. I know a lot of guys, myself included who are getting more and more motivated to leave. Something needs to happen.

In the chief pilots memo, pilot talk, he said we will grow 40% or 500 pilots in the next 18 months.

That's 28 a month.

Not exactly record breaking hiring. And 18 months is longer than a year for those who didn't understand that.

If they need to grow the seniority list by 28 per month....they need to hire a lot more! Firgure 3-4 washouts per class....6-8 leaving per month and a handful of retirements. I’d say 40/month is a better target. Good luck!

There are 26 in class right now. Another 20 to 30 coming in august. I am all about discouraging people from coming here, but stick to the truth please. 500 in 18 moths is 28 a month, as someone else pointed out.

Sorry aero your spin isn’t gonna work this time. 28 Pilots a month IS record breaking hiring for this place, and it is IMPOSSIBLE! You guys can’t possibly con 500 pilots to come to work at this place anymore, and it is logistically impossible for the company to support that kind of hiring. It is a flat out LIE, trying to get every last wide-eyed hopful through the door. Luckily, every regional pilot has figured out this place isn’t the least bit desirable. What would you like to say to the people in the last year you’ve hooked into paying for their own hotel who are commuting to reserve for $38 bucks an hour who just had their vacations cancelled? I’m sure to make this happen you guys will just cancel more vacations if need be. Don’t believe anyone who says we are growing that fast it’s a ploy!!! Frankly, I don’t know how you guys can look at yourselves in a mirror every morning and how could you feel good about saying this to people.
