I had an opportunity to interview with Southwest but didn’t even go. Some say I am stupid but it doesn’t make sense to make a lateral move with my time in, I think the same of Spirit and JetBlue.
To anyone looking to come here, understand that a junior person won’t see a vacaction until July of next year at the earliest, and that is if an offer goes on the table tomorrow.

Yeah, they hold interviews at the GO, (I won’t say corporate headquarters, an extravagant building bought with OUR MONEY Btw) The interviewees are not employees yet (and for their sake, hopefully they never are at this sh!t hole). But as employees who work here, have background checks done, and oh by the way, are put in charge of a $65mil tube with some stupid animal on it, we are Not allowed in that place! That’s right, pilots are not welcomed in the GO! Security will be called on you! That’s how toxic it is here. Even the worst times at my regional doesn’t compare! I can’t imagine any compelling reason to come to this place right now.
Is this true? If so, when did this happen?
And, I'm pretty sure that there's some sort of legal right to be able to talk to HR face to face for personal issues if push came to shove.

I cannot stand people who shame new hires for choosing to come work at Frontier. Perhaps it’s not the best decision in your mind. But then I ask, why are you here!

That wasn’t as great a post as you thought it was going to be. It especially didn’t warrant posting it on two threads. This stupid argument never ceases to amaze me. Say I was walking into a movie theater. If all the people walking out that just saw the movie I wanted to see said it sucked and it was the worst movie they ever saw that they wished they never saw it, I would thank them and probably look at seeing a different movie. You , I guess, would chastise them for not walking out in the middle. You sound like you’re frustrated and can’t get hired anywhere. So you lash out at people who are trashing the only airline that will call you. There is a reason they are calling “everyone”. Sounds like you’re trying to justify coming here, So, I guess we’ll see you in the next class then.

Yeah, that would be tough to give up. I was assuming around 5, that's where I am at NK, still see some greener grass out there....
Hope you guys get something reasonable on the table soon. When I see the post about probies getting fired, vacations cancelled, ALPA not increasing their ask, while management changes status quo all over the place, makes me really angry. We got TRO-ed(unfairly IMHO), kept bumping up the ask, and got a just good enough contract in way less time. I honestly think you should be able to sue the NMB for doing nothing by now. Good luck

They are part of the 1% killing the middle class, I hate them - the whole system is broken, I have no trust in the system. Often times you have to stand up and fight for yourself. Fly the contract & fly the FOM to the letter of the law.

Never mind, I found the information on the ALPA website. It was three years for Spirit. Yeah we haven’t exceeded that....yet.
