Hope you guys get something reasonable on the table soon. When I see the post about probies getting fired, vacations cancelled, ALPA not increasing their ask, while management changes status quo all over the place, makes me really angry. We got TRO-ed(unfairly IMHO), kept bumping up the ask, and got a just good enough contract in way less time. I honestly think you should be able to sue the NMB for doing nothing by now. Good luck

I wish we could and I assume if there was a case, ALPA would. Remember the NMB's primary charter is to...

"The NMB helps maintain the flow of interstate commerce in the U.S. Airlines and Railroad industries through Mediation, Representation, Arbitration, and Alternative Dispute Resolution services."

They are part of the 1% killing the middle class, I hate them - the whole system is broken, I have no trust in the system. Often times you have to stand up and fight for yourself. Fly the contract & fly the FOM to the letter of the law.

How long did it take you guys? We are basically two and half years in. Negotiations opened a year early.
Never mind, I found the information on the ALPA website. It was three years for Spirit. Yeah we haven’t exceeded that....yet.

I was thinking since you took a paycut that was going to disappear once the airline became profitable....

Looks like 5 people left within the last week. A few days ago there were 1262 pilots, now showing 1257.

Probably people deciding to use their profit sharing checks to retire early. Oh wait, we aren’t asking for that either...

Anyone know how many new hires showed up for the August class? It should have started on Monday 8/6.
