As of late July they were still doing interviews at the new GO.

So if you are even remotely contemplating this sheet show of an airline, they are now CANCELLING vacations for a second month in a row. Be very weary of the people who try to sell you on this place. Cancelling vacations for September, you gotta be kidding. Well I have a feeling this is just the beginning. But hey you get to fly an Airbus, that’s cool. And you aren’t gonna stay here that long anyway, that’s cool. It’s gotta be better than a regional, right. You people are adults, but you are getting lured into an unmarked white van by some really crappy candy. Good luck to us all.

Yeah, they hold interviews at the GO, (I won’t say corporate headquarters, an extravagant building bought with OUR MONEY Btw) The interviewees are not employees yet (and for their sake, hopefully they never are at this sh!t hole). But as employees who work here, have background checks done, and oh by the way, are put in charge of a $65mil tube with some stupid animal on it, we are Not allowed in that place! That’s right, pilots are not welcomed in the GO! Security will be called on you! That’s how toxic it is here. Even the worst times at my regional doesn’t compare! I can’t imagine any compelling reason to come to this place right now.

Have any of you guys considered voting with your feet? Spirit and jetBlue both seem to have decent pay rates. At the very least they still have their vacation.

I had an opportunity to interview with Southwest but didn’t even go. Some say I am stupid but it doesn’t make sense to make a lateral move with my time in, I think the same of Spirit and JetBlue.

To anyone looking to come here, understand that a junior person won’t see a vacaction until July of next year at the earliest, and that is if an offer goes on the table tomorrow.
