No future? about as much as any regional can expect. However, considering the original plan was for 54 aircraft and it has been announced an additional 20 will be coming, doesn't sound to me like it will be folding up in the next year or two.

Gojet wi be a good place to be.. (minus there training complaints).

But that being said. the 550’s are all predicated on business travelers... as long as this Covid thing goes away soon and business travel picks back up. Things will be fine. If its here to stay. It covid-19 could kill the 550’s..

might wanna look at that united scope language.

with reduced flying if it continues...and fuel staying cheap...no way the 50 seat jet makes sense. Watch what Delta does...

I think it's a matter of time before some of us hit the streets. I know I'm preparing for it. And that's probably across all airlines.

Wasn't the CRJ550 based off “business” pax’s.... Probably not the best setup for weathering this... maybe they will putt them back to the 70 seat configuration...??..

Probably take longer to reconfigure the airplane to 70 that it would take for this s$itshow to be over...

This is what Delta just did to us at CP. They pulled their remaining 20 planes by the end of this month. We were scheduled to be done around August. Oh well!
Waiting for the AA shoe to drop.

Still, other 50 seaters would be parked first. There are loads of them in the United system because of the scope. Too much excitement around the new product.

I have a different opinion about focus.

I don't believe the main concern is the virus or what happens with that. I don't believe the big concern is 50 seaters versus 70 seaters versus scope. United has reasons to keep flying 50 seaters. 550s or 200s? A 200 costs about 300 per hour less per flight hour than a 550 on the lease payments, the 550 uses a little less gas I believe. Customers will like the 550 more. 300 per hour divided by 40 people is about 7.50 per passenger. Is that a big thing, you decide.

I believe the main concern every Gojet/Compass/(TSA pilot wondering where to go) pilot should have is, are the major airlines done doing business with the likes of HK? Delta is, it is over with Delta and they will never deal with TSH again. United is still working with TSH, but will it last? TSA told them, "we have no pilots, we can't fly the contract, it's your problem now." TSH has lots of pilots at Compass and not enough at TSA but can't move them? If I were United I'm be looking elsewhere because I could not rely on TSH. American?

TSH had big problems before the virus. The virus will just be making things happen quicker. Is TSH the place to be?
