I made my peace with it, just trying to warn everyone else about this toxic operation. It'd benefit me for others to get on the seniority list but I'm telling anyone that will listen that this is sincerely NOT a good place to work. Just a public service announcement.

Who has the stats? How many pilots lost the last 3 months, how many new hires, how many new planes coming each month? How many make it through training?
If GoJet can't keep up then we won't be here at the end of the summer. Period.

LMFAO. You really can’t say you weren’t warned.

So….
“Production of the CRJ700 may be restarted for use by the USA’s Skywest Airlines in a CRJ550 configuration, LNA is told.”

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries discontinued production with the completion of the last of the small backlog it acquired with the June 1, 2019, purchase of the program from the ailing Bombardier. The final 15 CRJ900s were completed during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Montreal Mirabel Airport production line was shut down. The tooling was removed and stored. The buildings were turned over to Airbus, which now uses them for A220 production.

Quite honestly the company is playing with fire… and they are going to get burned. They are cancelling flights due to staffing issues and United is noticing. People are doing their homework and realizing that the quality of life and pay is below standard. Meanwhile the company continues to push 50 seat pay rates and say that the pay is “industry standard”…. Good luck with that…
The 550 could go anywhere… it’s nothing more then a 700 with 50 seats and a few pedestals to put bags in… SkyWest could fly them under United or someone else…
The fact of the matter is, at some point G7 will go bye bye… there are no assets for the company to liquidate… that has been done already… All the registrations for the most part are to SkyWest…
It has been widely known for years that the old man has wanted to get out completely for a long time… the best thing that could happen is a acquisition … but I wouldn’t hold my breath on that either…
The ten year contract G7 has means nothing… United wasn’t stupid when they signed it in 2019. They have a escape clause … every contract does.
Until management decides to treat the pilots the way they should be treated… such as not cancelling their vacation and then forcing them to have it paid out and not even give the pilot group the option to reschedule it for a later time, you will continue to see people leave… when the company can no longer attract pilots… that’s when the doors will close because the old man is cheap and doesn’t care.

Rumor out of the Willis Tower is that GoJet's 550s are going to Skywest in September or early October. Skywest wants the pilots too, date of hire seniority for pay but date of transfer for bidding, and a 2 year fence. After 2 years nobody will care. This will be a 30% pay increase for the GoJet pilots if it happens.
The rumor continued that Hulas wants more money and says if Skywest just makes newhires out of the pilots and no longeviety it is a better deal for SW and makes the deal more valuable, justifying the higher price. In addition to the GoJet planes, supposedly 50 "new" CRJs going to Skywest and 25 550 to Air Wisconsin.
I can't attest to the accuracy of the rumor but I did shell out $3.13 for a Starbuck's coffee on the corner of Wells and Madison for the information. He offered to show me actual paperwork but that would have cost me a coffee and 2 donuts over at the Dunkin Donuts at 110 W. Madison.
If it all gets signed then it will be a great deal for the GJ pilots. GJ is the best bet out there currently.
