I couldn't care less about beards. Good luck with your fight. I would ask if I were on the management side: You took a job with the full knowledge that you would never be able to have a beard, and now you want one.
How is this not the same as buying a house near the airport and then complaining about the airplane noise?

I love how apoplectic many pilots get regarding trivial issues that have no bearing on them or their income stream. Yet, they will wander off whistling while serious threats to their authority, their contract, and their lifestyle are crashing the front gate.
