iPhone Logbook

This certainly looks promising. For anyone waiting for LBP / APDL to make any major enhancements anytime soon, their timeline has now moved to 2Q 2009.

That Flt-crew ilog looks amazing! Blows away APDL. I'd love to have that. APDL works great if you like palm, but I'm getting pretty sick of my treo freezing up all the time. I'm about to upgrade phones. The only thing holding me back is I'll have to give up APDL. As soon as I find a suitable replacement for APDL... I'm there!

Heyas,
Until Apple decides to relax the iPhone operating system, a lot of applications are going to be gimped, because you can't upload data or access the file system.
The one thing APDL had going for it is that you could upload your schedule, making the data entry thing a no-brainer. I also liked the Whitlow and 24/7 checking.
Heck, on my old iPod Mini, you could drag and drop files and basically use the thing like a portable hard drive. This, IMHO, is the biggest drawback to the iPhone.

Agreed, it would be great if I could take my schedule from the web and place it on the iPhone, someday.
I use to use ADPL. When the company was still with the original owners they were responsive and grew the program. Since it has been subsumed by NC, it has been hobbled with the integration with LogBookPro. One example, we gat paid by HH:MM yet after 7+ years NC is unresponsive and insists on using decimal tenths both on the transfer to LBP and LBP itself. There is a promise in Ver 2.0 to change this, but that has been promised for 7+ years.
It's all a compromise. In order to get away from Win ME and Palm this will work for me. With Flt-crew ilog you can send a .csv file to yourself and export to say LBP or Log Ten.

How is the program overall? Is it worth buying or should I just wait for a Palm emulator to get released for the iPhone and continue using APDL that way?
Thanks

Can you use the iTouch for the iLog app? It seems that people keep saying you need to have online access to use iLog. Is this true? I don't want to get an iPhone, but would like to start using the iLog app on an iTouch

I just ran across a new logbook app called Flogger that seems to be just right for me. Think: little red book that can fit in your phone.
It's user configurable on the phone and exports to .csv via Google docs.
10 bucks - works great lasts long time.
