You should brush up on your AIM knowledge.

That's cool until you hit something while taxing without a clearance. I know how it is, but be careful. The contributing factor will be normalization of deviation by jerk controllers. The cause will be PD.

Sounded to me like they had a clearance. What is the source for the position and movement of the airplane icons in the animation?

Are you trying to defend the TOTD in that video?

Assuming those positions in the animation are accurate, it seems like the RJ took longer than necessary to proceed once they recieved a taxi clearance to their gate. But the Delta guy is still undoubtedly the tool here for losing it like that over an aircraft not moving as "professionally" as he would like.

And I have to agree, the vocal resemblance to Captain Happy is uncanny.

Under that assumption and, sure.

But between clearing a runway, being close to another runway intersection, etc who's to say they weren't just being cautious when they say an aircraft so close to them? We're they simply taking pause to verify the taxi route, etc? And I haven't researched, but was it night time?

Can't really fault them either way.

And since his panties are so twisted, could you imagine if it was an AA airplane

The attitude for sure does. Maybe it's the recording, but the ATL incident CA happy sounds a little younger, MSP it sounds like a guy about to stroke out. Who knows, maybe years of being CA Happy did that to him....

Oh without a doubt! I didn't mean to imply fault on the exiting RJ. I don't think anyone can find fault with a crew taking an extra minute to make sure they are in the right place and going the right way. That's why our Capt. Snappy here wins the TOTD award.

I wonder if CA Happy and CA Hollywood know each other?

One has flown war time missions during peace time and one creates war time situations during peace time.
