$3.35 for a styrofoam cup of Farmer’s Brothers coffee in Bismarck or $3 for a pour it yourself cup from a Keureg in Idaho Falls is not ok.
My brother-in-law (who used to travel extensively for work) once asked me why airline people "expect to live their life 10% off". I didn't have a good answer for him. But I like the discounts!

Im impressed that anyone is complaining about the coffee rates in IDA and BIS when the runways are under construction (BIS) or the runways magically change overnight with a rediculous ODP (IDA).

For the same reason he jams himself into a 17" wide seat for 29.99 less.

Its call multi wealth accumulation programs.

Part of the discount is deposited into the tip jar, and part of the discount is deposited into my tip jar at home.

Nah... I put the entire amount into the tip jar.

$50-70+ per day in per diem? I like the discounts too, don't get me wrong. But it's not like we're totally on our own dime for every layover.

Because the 50% of us that didn’t come up through the military came up through $12,000 flying jobs only to be blessed with a $22,000 regional airline job. Cheapness is survival.

If you're taxiing on 16L (closed for construction) in SEA can we keep the strobes off at night please? Thanks.
