Couple days ago center asks a couple different crews to please monitor for an ELT.
Couple moments go by and one of them comes on and asks for the freq for the elt.

Crews who answer their phone and complain about being reassigned or getting their day rolled, and they want you to feel bad for them! Honestly, HOW long have you been working here? Do you even look at the caller ID? This is something you should have learned in the very beginning: Don't answer your phone!

....EVER....

Even if I'm on RSV, calls ALWAYS go to voice mail. ;)

I don't get the problem. If they call me on my day off, I just say "no". Next time I see the CP, I explain it was on my day off, and all is well.

Is this EFB mounted to the aircraft? The aircraft cabin is probably 50' long. The CRJ, EMB, and Q-400 are, anyways.

Take the EFB for a little stroll.
