Welcome everyone! I hope you will post questions or answers or comments on the Forums where you see fit. We're a community here where we try to help out when we can, and have fun and friendship along the way.

I trust that, like me, you will find yourself drawn back here at all stages of your aviation journey. In the past 12 years, I have watched young people start in gliders or flight school and enjoyed their stories from the cockpit and around the world.

Default Introduction

I am a mechanical engineer and currently have my private license, working on IFR. My short term plan is to get commercial and CFI rating. Long term, I would like to contribute my engineering background to continue making aviation safer.

Default New guy from Texas

Hey Guys! Louis here from Texas. I'm currently planning out my path to the airlines. I've got my first class medical scheduled for Monday and I'm hoping to learn as much as possible from the good folks here to help select the best route to reach my dreams. Flying for UPS is the ultimate goal.

I've only got a few hours logged so I'm starting from scratch. I'm hoping to be a full time flight student by the end of the year!

Started my career as an A&P in the airlines and been flying since 1980, this mostly rotorwing (ATP) and minimal fixed wing (CPL) on the side mostly for pleasure.
Currently flying VIP day/night VFR/IFR worldwide supporting yachts. Recently completed CTP-ATP and AML written. Thinking of concentrating more on the fixed wing side.
