Hello,
I just joined the forum.
I flew extensively in the mid-70s to early 90s as a flight instructor, charter pilot, and corporate pilot. I've co-owned a part 135 executive charter company as well as an aircraft sales and pilot services company.
I've flown many types of general aviation airplanes, up through Lear 30 series and Cessna Citations. My most memorable flight was right seat on a 1934 DC-2: LGB-LAS-GCN-LAS-LGB.
I retired a couple of years ago from a large aerospace company where I was senior engineering manager.

I'm a CFI with an A&P from a school that's no longer around- Northrop University. Looking to gain more experience and certs at a flight school and/or Part 135 operation.
Past: Engineering degree and 20 years developing technology products plus an MBA was the path to management consulting and an early "retirement" to help raise a family. They're all grown up now, so I'm on to the next challenge.
After I learn more about the business and earn the certifications I can help an aviation company grow.

46 yrs old, 15400 hr ATP with 4 type ratings flying the 757/767 at a large 121 Carrier......considering a career change back to exotic dancing or taxidermy, but I fear they require more work and don’t pay as well.....it’s been quite a ride so far, worth it in every respect.

CFI working in the Sandhills of North Carolina. 500TT. Shooting for the 121 world and trying to enjoy the journey along the way. Long time lurker of the good, bad, and ugly on this forum. Lots of respect for those of you who help people out here without getting anything in return. Fly safe.
