Terms that annoy you on the radio
#92
Since I'm here, I'll join the fray. I'm an admitted radio Nazi, but some guys just need to get back to basics. If a guy wants to use trucker CB comm with a USA center, I can deal with it. Outside of the US, some of our legacy, cargo and ACMI bros are simply an embarrassment on the radios. Other than making US pilots sound like amateurs, they're setting themselves up for violations and safety issues.

"Roger That"
There was a guy named Phil at my old company who said Roger so much, all the time, not just on the radio, we all started calling him Roger, but he loved it.
So we had to start calling him "Roger That, Over and Out!"

I usually try to make sure I know all the frequencies I will be on and have it queued up for the handoff. It's pretty simple.
