Oh I definitely agree with your statement but a turbine is a turbine IMO the systems all work the same, Theres a source a force a course and a divorce. As far as the visual he's comming from a T'prop he should be able to manage power and keep it tight coming from the land of purple DC10's.

I agree and disagree with that statement. First I believe someone coming from a 135 background would probably be a little more familiar with the operations at a 121 carrier than a CFI but the operations aside they more than likely will be going into a far more complex aircraft at the airline. So knowing the operation can take you only so far in actually flying the aircraft when "cleared for the visual."
I hope to get a class soon. To fly with a respectable regional like AE would be very nice. I miss flying a ton. It sounds crazy but it even felt good to get in the Sim at the interview ha.
