I second this. For some reason this is a common misconception. I didn't find this out until this last bid. I'm stuck with a late class date for DFC. I will have 3 beneath me in dallas. What do you guys think? Should I try to bid DFE before my class date and have about 50 beneath me or should I just stick with what I got?

Of course they're both RJ's............these prospective pilots KNOW THAT.

Half of the CRJ's will be newer, so yes they're nicer.

Many won't have a choice of equipment due to seniority within class, so my point was to provide valid information of expectations.

Your points seem to provide..........er, nothing. You're doing a good job, I might add.

All i know is that the EMB pilot seats suck. my back was always in pain flying that thing. now the CRJ seat is a little better. The CRJ is harder to climb into the seat then the EMB. im 5'10 165lbs

My error on this.........I stand corrected.

Traditionally, because there are substantially fewer CRJ's, the movement for this aircraft is very slow. On the EMJ (yes, EMJ.......we're talking EAGLE here folks) there was traditionally more frequent displacments. You also had the possibilities of JFK and LAX, although LAX has shrunk to a skeleton of its former self and its future is questionable. Additionally, there is generally more open time available on the EMJ if you should desire some extra money.

I've sat in better, but I never was in any pain.............perhaps you have an unresolved medical issue ?

It was extremely rare any of the pilots I've flown with in the EMJ complained of pain.
