Many tea transporters have been hijacked lately and aircover might be reduced due to fighter pilots unable to fly because of sore backs. As a result, more shipments are hijacked, transportation expenses increase and thus the price of tea increases.

Ok, here's another one to ponder. Eagle is hiring now for the CRJ's coming but 50 seater's are the dominate bird of the fleet.
? # 1 - Are the newbies going to be thrown into the CRJ's or EMJ's?

? # 2 - Since 50 seaters are the main squeeze are these new hires destined
to be yet again furloughed not so long from now if the 50's are on
their way out?

The FAA ultimately put EMB145 on my license but I always referred to it as a ERJ as in "Embraer Regional Jet". Although I must admit even the FAA first put ERJ145 then changed it later. I guess it really doesn't matter, just a side note. Carry on.

I was a Summer 2008 intern and I applied. Maybe that internship will pay off?

His position equiptment says F-16. Unless they started flying cargo or towing banners and gliders in that thing I think he might be/have been a fighter pilot. Just a thought.

Someone here said 2 years is a long time to sit reserve for the crj. That's how it used to be several years ago but that definitely changed. I've sat on reserve for 2 years on the emb and will sit there for at least 2.5. While I think I would have been on reserve the whole time on the crj, I would have been a lot more senior. Right now I'm at the bottom of reserve in ord.

Who knows how it's all going to pan out when the crj's get on property? Since for the most part emb fo's can't go to the crj, it looks like if I was on the crj my life would be a lot better because all of a sudden I'd get a lot of recalled guys and newhires below me, whereas the emb list will be sort of stagnant.
