Im not sure how overstaffed we are because I get several open-time emails per week. Just got one for 2 F/O's. Generally, companies that are overstaffed don't have a lot of open time available.

Maybe they're just giving folks some time to get their information in order for submission.

As far as resubmitting. I would. The site says you can submit updates. I know many of us hired earlier this year sent in monthly updates.

Just one man's opinion.

Seems european economies have bottomed and are slowly turning the corner along with Asia, US is strengthening as well. IMO, Atlas is preparing for the next leg up in economic cycles. As they say everyones got one!!

Zero hedge......is pretty close to being on the spot....being a prior investment broker/reserve pilot......you haven't seen anything yet with the market.....short if you can........they'll be coming for your 401k's/ira's very soon.........just google other countries doing that..........get in the survival mode..........take care of yourself......
Our whole economy is false....thanks to the fed.........don't listen to the MSM......it can only last so long...until we're all *ucked......

While viewing this thread, under the page numbers at the top, is a button called "search this thread". Sounds sarcastic, but I'm really pointing it out because a lot of people don't know it's there. I searched "credit" and got this list: http://www.airlinepilotforums.com/se...archid=3969801

My experience: I've credited between 62 and 145 hours over the past 22 months on the 767. I always plan my budget at guarantee and buy toys during the good months. YMMV.

Last Friday we were overstaffed and shrunk the schoolhouse. Monday, all of that was changed. Thursday they opened a hiring window.

I think we changed smoke-and-mirror providers....

Or, alternatively: "Pylot Shawtawge is here!", Every pilot since 1972

My personal opinion?

FAR 117 implementation, retirements, and small amount of attrition, are the reasons for the window opening again.
