didn't find it anywhere, but do you get your own room in training? and do you get to fly home occasionally in training?
Also if you are reduced to 9 or 8 days off for the month while on rsv, do you get compensated in anyway for the loss of days off? pay?, days off restored? |

However, this seemed to be acceptable by our pilot group, since this issue has loooong been forgotten... |

Is it true that you have to travel WITH your parents when they fly on their passes?

Pinnacle parents have the same priority on Delta as they do on American, Southwest, Jetblue, etc... |

So you new guys know, your hire date is now the day that you start class. So that means you get your employee badge when you start class. You will be able to jumpseat, if they have you in CASS yet. Enjoy....

Anybody going to the interview next week? I got a call today and was told to get a current first class medical and call back before they would schedule an interview sometime in a next week. He was not sure what date it would be.
I am furloughed and have not flown over a year. Did anyone having the similar background got through the interview or a call from Pinnacle? |

Got a call over a month ago from the chief pilot. Turned it down, the pay is just not worth the hassle. I have no idea how they got my info.

Good luck getting that point through to the gate agent...
It's quite simple. If you don't show up in CASS, you can still jumpseat, just not in the jumpseat. Agents know this. So I'd say your wish of good luck will be well received. |

No. Under the former NW system though you did have to travel with buddy pass riders. No longer the case with friendlier DL pass bennies.

Not too sure about "friendlier" pass bennies from DL: we lost our buddy passes, we can only fly overseas 3 legs a year now, after that we start paying, we also lost positive space purchases at 30% discount, and to top it off we now even have to pay $50 out of our own pocket every year for these pass benefits!!

I love how they picked 3 legs, as if somehow someone is going to be able to use that extra leg. I'm going to take a trip with that extra leg they so generously give out and then call in to crew scheduling and tell them that I am stuck indefinitely in Europe until next year when the pass benefits reset and I get another 3 legs.
The third leg was designed to allow you to continue your journey if you had to make a one-stop coming across the international date line. Technically, you have just one round trip transocean pass. Totally sucks. |

I know several in the same spot as well. They HOPE never to hear a peep about it. I can't imagine there's a full time DAL employee tasked with auditing the DCI travel accounts. |
Couldnt you just CASS on AA, Continental, United, etc over seas and pay for the taxes? I'm sure they would put you in a seat anyway, considering most transatlantic flights always have spare room (esp in First, where nobody wants to pay those astronomical prices). What is the difference between doing this and getting your yearly roundtrip pass on Delta overseas? Is the annual overseas trip a guaranteed seat or something? Is that the difference? Forgive me, I'm trying to understand why you wouldn't be able to go to Europe on multiple occasions in one year (no jokes about scheduling please ;))

Do you think after the new contract passes that pinnacle will get better travel benifits? Is that part of the contract negotiations?
Also, what are some things that you think will come out of this new contract if passed? Will it be industry leading (regional wise)? |

This is straight from the top. Pinnacle is one of the only airlines that considers your DOH to be the date of your checkride. This will only be applied for SLI and nothing more. |

No and No... I've been told by people on the negotiating committee Pass Travel Bennies will have nothing to do with the contract...It is strictly up to Delta and the new Delta Connection Pilot Alliance... |
