Given the current laws in the Railway Labor Act the likelihood of a pilot group being allowed to put management on notice with a strike is not going to happen. But I would say taking a bonus that is currently being litigated in the courts by the pilot is equivalent to crossing a picket line. That being said WHY any pilot would go to Horizon now with this type of environment doesn’t understand how bad management can make the QOL for pilots.

I agree that no one should come here. However, throwing around the word scab does nothing but dilute the meaning of the word which only helps the real scabs.

Quibble our way to prosperity is the strategy, eh?

I believe that skywest is operating some 700's and 200's for Alaska to cover down on some routes that horizon wasnt able to staff. Someone else may know better but thats last I heard.

Yeah, the 700's were our airplanes that the company gave to OO to fly our routes in the great "one fleet type money-saving rationalization" phase we went through a few years ago. Now we're going back to two, because that didn't work. (No, nobody asked us. But the guy who came up with the idea was given a parachute made out of solid gold.)
The 200's are OO's own airplanes that they use when the 700's break because of mtx reliability issues. (Or too many dead Q400's.)

What's the chances Alaska Airlines is going to get a taste of this good stuff, when their hiring pool is drying up?

Perhaps they will offer $20K (pre-employment) to new hires because they're major airline pilots. I wonder how they would react???

Uhhh no. Not even close to correct. Why don't you educate yourself before spreading misinformation.
