What's happening at Horizon and Jets?

The APU is nice except the company doesn't want us using them. They over invested in pre conditioned air carts (which SUCK) and stations are writing up flight crews who refuse to use them.
The APU costs about $20 to start up, but Alaska would rather have pax sit on a 90 degree airplane sweating. They might work better in the winter but they definitely cannot keep a plane cold.

You'll enjoy the APU, I think most people forget what flying GA airplanes with no AC is like.... yeah the PCA's can suck but even then just open the vents and it's all good. I mostly worry about the actual cabin temp than what comes out from the flight deck vents cause I hate to see people overheating in the back. I've yet to have an issue overheating up front. The dash is my favorite plane yet and I'm sure one day I'll fly something better but until then I do like this plane a lot.

I have my 1000 121 time, so I will probably sit right seat for a couple months to learn the plane, then put in for upgrade.
