What about the poor guys/gals who have to work with these over-extended greedy exhausted d-bags? Is it fair to them? My last place only allowed contract min-1 day, and that was only because the *****s demanded it.
What ever happened to Safety as a value? The science is clear on the need for adequate rest, to compensate for both acute and chronic fatigue.
To be clear: not calling CCH a d-bag, that is aimed at the chronic over-workers / company lackeys.

While this makes me sad, I’ve heard enough rumors (crazy ones too) to last a lifetime. As the saying goes, I’ll believe it when I see it. Is this more reliable than UAL trying to buy USair this in the late ‘90’s?
Btw. What’s your angle? UAL guy? Frontier guy? Guy who likes kicking puppies?

I'm very suspicious of this. It's a very weak benefit yet it was touted alongside all the other "highlights". It leads me to believe the AIP really was the best parts of the deal.
In any case, doesn't this really only benefit the super, super senior guys that already get 9+ hrs/day operating going down, DH coming back? How will this benefit the 60% of the poor souls that don't have seniority or the interest to be FLICA *****s? If you're a 2nd year Captain on Reserve (or worse, an FO), who will trade you for the 2259-0600 double redeye to SDQ out-and-back?
Don't get me wrong... being able to trade below 70 hrs is a must for me, especially since it's established at places like Delta, but it's still only a small victory for a small audience. Plus, didn't the AIP say "trade" instead of "drop"? (I don't have it in front of me)

Eloquently said. The needle is still stuck at NO. It'll take A LOT to get to yes.

As long as you can find someone to take the flying and it doesn’t hurt staffing you can drop to 0.

Sorry bud. Was meant to be tounge-in-cheek.
Happy it’s there, but it’s way down the list. Wasn’t trying to tout it as important.

No worries.
But the bullet point sounds like a minor win since, like Smittey B said:
Correct “trade”, not drop.
As long as you can find someone to take the flying and it doesn’t hurt staffing you can drop to 0.

Still stuck on NO.... NO reason to be yes with such weak victories.
