4 years until amendable, years more to negotiate the next contract. We can't count on the company being willing to finish up anywhere near the amendable date, barring language meant to discourage dragging their feet.

I wonder how much we are losing overall to substandard profit sharing over time with AIP vs. the signing bonus vs. a proper contract commensurate a professional pilot with respectable profit sharing like DL or SWA.

I also wonder how much they make from the Trump Tax Cuts alone?

Why is he a coward? What makes you so brave?

What is the utility in him calling you vs. talking here?

If someone does actually call you, I hope they use a burner phone/public phone and a voice changing (synthesizing) service.

What are you in charge of your toys and how people play in your sandbox? This is real life not your sandbox!
Unless the contract contradicts some of the AIP substandard bullet points, the NO vote will stay NO.

The world is my sandbox. One man can make a difference.

That's what I thought/remembered. So basically nothing that could directly and tactically write contract language. It's no better than a political poll then.

Well, that is a flaw in their methodology. They need to dump their old way of doing things and talk legal language from Day 1 rather than waiting till the end, in terms of the survey. Of course... this is all they know how to do, so they are very constrained. I know these guys sacrifice but from a business deal perspective, performance just isn't there. So, let's see how much of this road show is to cover for their limited imagination in how to conduct surveys and overall negotiations. Remember that any gains we make are still (-)1.9%+++. I'm a big union supporter, just not a supporter of performance so far. We need better than AIP rates to compensate for the total careerlong (or even 5/10 yr) losses.

4 year contract plus JB stall, spin, delay contract 2.0 for 3-4 years.

Let me guess, JB would never do that?!?

What’s your estimate for renegotiating a failed AIP? Is the stall, spin, delay temporarily suspended?

No, but we hold leverage right now in the form of fleet review, diminishing pool of applicants, wall street angst, a thriving economy, and (until this AIP was released) a unified and very angry pilot group.

Will any of those be true in 3-4 years?

Checkers vs chess

We got outmaneuvered. Plain and simple.

Hamstringed my the RLA......using pilots to negotiate against MGMT backed by ford and Harrison with Decades of experience in exactly how to handle dumb union members...........why do pilots think it’s so easy and we are so smart?

Giggity is smarter than us. She has no idea how to run an airline, but she is SMARTER than the majority of us. She will be the first female CEO of an airline........incompetent...yes...but look at us! First FEMALE CEO!!!! We are awesome! Doesn’t that sound like the JETBLUE you know and hate? Point is...they make irrational decisions because they don’t know how to run an airline.

But they excel in running a PR firm.

They win either way. We vote this turd in and they get what they want. We vote it down and they say “fine.....we’ll do it the hard way” and JetSuite ventures gets 100 135’s and 100 Cseries.

They have a plan if this TA fails.
Either they:
1) negotiate some more....and come to the table with a real offer?
Or
2) stall for however long it takes to Execute the backup plan we don’t know about?

Based on your years of experience with how this company operates.....what do you think they will do?
Serious question.....will they do “what’s right”?

Or

Jetcheap their way around a dollar to save a dime and do it the hard way?
