Only “initial cadre” pilots count. So just ask if they were part of that. Otherwise they’re just a line pilot like the rest of us.

If you are say 200/250 (so 80% in base), and 50 people above you go to the 220 with no backfill, you’ll then be 150/200, or 75%, which seems like better seniority to me. I think it hurts if you’re say 25/250 (10%), and 50 people below you leave, and you become 25/200 (12.5%).

You have to multiply by the ALV, then divide by the Bid Divisor, raise to the power of your pto accrual, then use Pi somewhere.
