Let's start with the fact that that date doesn't matter, it's actual fleet, the date it was announced, and you had plenty of those RJs then.

Or you can stop misusing the idea of categories and stop having strange fantasies about how you can find a way to screw JB pilots on an SLI.
Or you can learn how to read. I never said the ETOPS group would favor NK, I do think it would favor JB. But you are so insecure, you think everything is an attack.

And if you want to continue you can PM me.

PotAto, PotAhto, but if it makes your day to count coup on that one you are welcome to it. It bothers me not a whit.

They are actually very different in the context of an SLI. Either way, I was having fun with you.

You know what else was in place the day the merger was announced? The retirement announcement of the E190 fleet... So your fantasy of stapling several hundred JB pilots to the bottom of the list below every NK pilot based on the E190 isn't going to happen. The only aircraft the arbitrator will consider are the A220-300 and A320 variants.

My mortgage is due in a few weeks. I called the bank and asked if I could pay them with MTGW or aircraft range/payload, they said no, must be DOLLARS.

I will let the arbitrator know that my bank only accepts DOLLARS and not aircraft tonnage, and he will use pay rates for "category", and it's of course the rates that were in place on the date of merger announcement... Based on that, all NK CAs will be integrated below all JB CAs, and all NK FOs will be slotted below all JB FOs. A fifth "category" will be created for all 1st year NK pilots because of the terribly low 1st year pay, and all NK pilots hired after merger announcement will be placed in the lowest "category".

Or, you can stop trying to fantasize about ways to screw JB pilots out of a fair integration.

If both companies don’t rein in their attrition it won’t be date of hire, it’ll be last man standing. Except for line holding CAs. Especially for NK. Especially when legacies are having a shorter upgrade time than either NK or B6, granted, in some of their less desirable domiciles, but even so.

I’m not sure, when you look at the recent pay raises in the regionals , that either airline management can hope to stretch out current contracts to a JCBA. If they don’t start dickering soon and getting out some seriously improved agreements as a bridge to the JCBA, today’s lineholding CAs may be the only ones left from the merger announcement date - assuming either company survives. In the current environment, two and a half years is an eternity.

I agree, waiting for a JCBA is totally ridiculous. We pay for our union to negotiate and enforce. This is all just lazy.

Dude stop it already. And you accuse me of drinking? With the the VA/AS merger firm orders were not taken into account, because according to the arbitrator, things can change, so they can only take into account what they have on the property on the date of the announcement, so stop dreaming they are going to take the retirement announcement into account. I have never dreamt of stapling anybody. I am just speculating, just like anybody else out here. But I don't spread lies like you do.
