Do most people coming out of training end up on reserve?

Would be crazy to give up a line at a regional, right?!

I’ve been at JetBlue about 15 months and can easily
hold a line (JFK 320). However I choose to bid long call. I have every Fri-Sun off. I’ve worked exactly 2 days (a whopping 4 legs) in 2023. I love it.

Keep in mind that if you leave your regional for a major, not only will you be back on reserve for months - you’ll also have to go back to training for months. Hard decisions.

BoomerIt is hard because for some of us this is just a job, and being 6 states away doesn’t really help much at getting father of the year award. Thanks for the inside though

Sounds like too much sacrifice. Why even bother?

(I don’t want to sit reserve for months again)
Man things have really changed. However reading the Facebook world if you are in base rsv right now is a good deal as they are not flying much.

Are the reserves in LAX getting used as little as the JFK guys?

This new generation of pilots is ridiculous. Y’all don’t know how good you have it. Too good for reserve? Ok Maverick.

This is the type of reading that makes me wish the economy took a tumble and some furloughs happened. Just to remind some that this times are ridiculous good.
