I'm tiring of this argument. So you can't have and voice concerns about how our country is run (left, right, center) unless you're willing or able to run for president?

Unless you are willing and able to run for president (or MEC chairman) you should sit on your hands and suck on a pacifier?

Of course you can have an opinion, but again, nothing will change if it always the same people cycling thru all the positions, nobody new is willing to step up and nobody participates in the election process and/or votes for the same people.

How many stepped up in your last local council election? What was the participation? Hell, there was 2 people that ran for ALPA National President out of what? 60,000+ ALPA pilots.

That is categorically false.

You are carrying water for CK with your argument and doing the pilot group a disservice.

You ardently defend our MEC?. Please enlighten me to their redeemable qualities, particularly CK, because I’ve felt nothing but cloak and dagger, shadow work from that weasel. Sincerely. I’m contemplating lec involvement or even more important, perhaps engagement in merger committees. I believe JB pilots are in for a rude awakening, when this goes down, unless we get some real killers in there.

25.R.7.c prevents CS from assigning a RSV a pairing scheduled to duty off after 0059 on your last day of RSV.

25.R.7.p is the mechanism of CS offering a trip that violates 25.R.7.c above but the pilot can chose to accept it and get pay or another day off (for the record I think I’ve been offered this once?)

25.R.7.j is there to save you when all hell breaks loose with unplanned delays and you get some extra pay or a day off
And the JCBA should eliminate all the carve outs and confusion. Reserve, lineholder, scheduled, delayed… At some point today becomes tomorrow and if you’re still working - it should pay the same.

Default reserve flying and money

Do some airlines pay you over the reserve guarantee if you are on reserve and wish to fly on your days off ? or on Vacation days ?
Did we have that system before ?
How do you guys feel about that ?
