You really dont know the meaning of circumspect do you? I am truly happy that you are content here, but most see B6 as a decent place to work with with inferior pay/benefits and work/reserve rules.
If you cant see that then you are either severely immature, unintelligent or lacking empathy.
My guess is that you live in base and like me, have seen some good movement in seniority. That is not the reality for many here, and better options exist out there.

I love these dick measuring threads. They're useless. Pointless. Reminds me of the threads on FI (or maybe even this one) just prior to 9/11...Then just about everyone lost everything and were all begging for those coveted NJA and Flight Options jobs. Remember?

Good, since you were around pre 9/11 you remember that even today the legacy contracts are paying 20-30% less in total compensation when compared to then. It's time to get back on a path that keeps this a career worth having for all seats and seniority levels.

Does anyone know how many total JFK Bus vacancies there are? I'm a JFK local, with my luck I'd wind up in BOS, or worse LGB. Was told to expect a June class if hired. Hoping all vacancies aren't filled by then. How often do they run vacancy bids to get out of a base?
