That’s 37 E190 CAs who moved over to the A320, creating a need for more E190 CAs. Makes sense to me.

There were zero E190 FOs upgrading to CA on either airframe since last June.
However, that E190 to Airbus is dealt with in real-time via backfill awards.

What was released today was the staffing increase per frame.

While that’s true that backfill is real time, if you anticipate a mass exodus you need to front end load the training cycle.

Ha, they're just getting around to that now!?!? That's kinda what I said in my original post, I guess they are beefing up the E190 staffing now so they can beef up Airbus staffing in the future. Can't see how this could go wrong (summer).

Probably a dumb question, but the main page says JB is hiring, yet I can't figure out how to get in.

Did the most recent window close, and if so, any idea when the next one will open?

Thanks in advance.

October 2018 hire. 3699/3816 overall. 186/247 in BOS/E90/FO as of the latest system bid, so 75%.

Awesome thanks. Just figured out where to find the bid awards. Looks like movement on the 190 should be pretty fast!

Yep. As you prob saw on the April awards lines went further down for next month. I don't think it will slow down anytime soon.

There is no way I would take the 320 the first year. Pay is the same 1st year, 1 year lock and you can wait and see. You will no doubt notice a drastic difference in base seniority the first year.
